Reception Year Applications

Children start Reception in September of the academic year in which they have their 5th birthday.  

Applications must be made to Suffolk County by the closing date in January, ready for the following September.  

Please apply online at: www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissions using the ‘CAF 1’ form.  The Local Authority process all applications for Reception in September 2024.

Transferring from Another School

In-year applications can be submitted at any time for other year groups, and should be made using the ‘ADM1’ form, available here ADM1-application-form

This form should be returned to our school office via admin@hartest.suffolk.sch.uk  as we process our own in-year applications.  We would also appreciate you filling in the Hartest C of E Primary School Consent Form  and returning it with your application.
